If I'd known I was going to live so long, I'd have taken better care of myself. - Leon Eldred

One of my favorite authors, Dan Miller, blogged recently:

"If someone saw a movie of your life so far, when the credits rolled would they say, “Wow, that was awesome!” Or would they scratch their head & say, “I wonder what that was all about?” Think about your life as a movie for a minute. How does the storyline in a movie develop? There is a character who wants something & overcomes some kind of conflict to get it. So you want to create memorable scenes in your movie. But remember everything counts. Every action is a permanent part of your life story. How you talked to someone this morning is a scene from the movie of your life. Your behavior at lunch today will be a scene from your life."

So brilliant that WE are the creator of our own life story! Every conversation we have is a scene from the movie of our life. Every behavior, habit, and routine that we accept & don't change even though we know they need improvement becomes an even longer scene of our story ... and the longer we go without these needed changes, the more likely the future will be predicted FOR us, instead of the other way around. Excite with me! WE can decide in advance what the story of our life be, and rewrite the scenes at any time.

We are the Author of our own Life.

Decide in advance what your story will be!
The following are some of the ingredients from My Personal Life Recipe that I invite you to find your own ahas! from:

Find gratitude in everything (yes, all of it)
Keep the curiousity you once had as a child that allowed you to find the world so pretty
Love yourself, everyone you meet, & our world with kindness, fairness, forgiveness, humility, and respect
Adore your body by putting only good things inside it & shaking it up with exercise
Feel AWE over the miracle of our body & how it will behave exactly according to how we 'bring it up' (good or bad)
Make your own choices through research & connecting with others ('Fit Out' with your unique style vs. trying to 'Fit In')
Embrace mistakes as highlights of your journey, and that you were meant to experience as a way to grow & help others
Let only positivity in your Life and make time for it (people, thoughts, food, experiences)
♥ Do what you love! because what we love is usually what we're good at, & are meant to be our intended gifts to the world
Do the best you can even if it means 'starting over' every day because you were trying to be too perfect yesterday
♥ Help others with their own journeys (it's not only good Karma, but ignites a feeling of connectedness & One Love)
♥ Invest in yourself by learning through books, experimenting with recipes, workshops, listening to others, soul-searching
Keep your Karma good by living every moment so that if it were replayed to a big world screen you would feel proud to be you

Close your eyes. What is YOUR My Personal Life Recipe?
