I honor in you the divine that I honor in myself and I know that we are one. - Deepak Chopra

Every morning I am greeted with a black & white photo of myself when I was only three years old. I stare at the familiar eyes and feel inspired. This little blonde girl who smiles at me each day is the epitome of a happy child with an oh-so-bright spirit that is trusting and hopeful that Life is pure goodness.

I am in awe at the blank template each of us unknowingly possess as new beings entering a new Lifetime. Seeing myself as a child through adult eyes creates a spiritual bridge that encourages me to be kind to myself. I am reminded that like this little girl, I have days ahead of me that are for me to create as I choose.

And so, I think to myself ... if this little person was my child, what promising and good things would I want for her Life? I wonder and muse as I go about my day, what kind of person would I hope she grew up to be?

And I thread this goodwill into my personal psyche every day, realizing that the child in this old photo that was worthy of a promising life, fulfillment and wellness is actually still myself. Connecting with a photo of myself when the world was first at my feet, brings the world to me again and feeds me a brilliant new purpose each day.

To me, that means discovering all the magic of everything and everyone, everywhere. It means being the best ME I can be, everyday.

It means celebrating my enlightened wonder and appreciation for all things LIFE, our divine higher energies & my own deep, insatiable quest for personal awareness and spirit-growth.
It means continually splashing color onto my unique, complicated and dancing kaleidoscope spirit and allowing myself to FIT OUT instead of trying to fit in.

Imagine that: we choose the attitude that creates our environment and in turn, our lives. Like Yin and Yang, dark and light, there are two sides to every thought and WE get to choose which set of eyes to look through. Everyday, we create (and RE-create) our world with our own thoughts.

Trust the sail and fly free, brother! Soar above all we are conditioned to know: eyes squinted to the sun, vibes skyward, energies wide-open. This is how I feel about Life, you dig? raw
