WHAT IS HOLISTIC HEALTH COACHING?

During your 6-month program we will meet in person or have phone sessions two times a month for six months (for a total of 12 coaching sessions), where we partner step by step to reach your health goals. During each of these one-hour sessions, I offer recommendations that are easy to integrate into your life and will make positive changes. You also receive hand-outs and various giveaways including food samples, books, CDs and other self-care items.

At each session we check in to see how your recommendations are going and to make sure you are feeling supported. Your coaching program is especially tailored to meet your needs and reach your goals.

Many people don't realize how much better they will feel if they eat healthier foods and adopt different, more health-promoting lifestyle choices. While most dietitians dwell on calories, carbs, fats, proteins, restrictions and lists of good and bad foods, I work with my clients to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and free of denial and discipline.


What to look forward to in a 6-Month Program:

Rosa offers a Six-Month Program that includes:

12 One-Hour Coaching Sessions over 6 months:
In person or phone sessions twice a month for six-months, for a total of 12 one-hour coaching sessions. Each session builds upon the last and is customized for your individual needs.

Unlimited e-mail Support:
E-mail support is offered in between sessions.

Free Consultation:
Prior to the six-month program, a one-hour session will take place to discuss the client's Confidential Health History Form. This free session allows the client to comfortably share any concerns or questions, as well as offers both the client and Rosa an idea if they would like to work together.

Setting Goals:
Before arriving for Session 1, clients are asked to define their goals for the program by completing the My Goals for Myself Form and bringing it to the first session. Clients must be aware of their present situation and define what they would like to accomplish. Goals may change and be redefined throughout the program.

Free Giveaways:
Throughout the program clients receive important hand-outs and giveaways to support their goals. These include food samples, CDs, books, and self-care items.

Food & Lifestyle Coaching
Rosa works together with clients to easily add healthier options into their diets. Clients learn to identify and deal with their personal cravings, so that over time they can reduce and crowd out foods that don't support health and energy. To experience lasting change and increased health, 'secondary food' is discussed first, which is the food we consume into our bodies. Once healthy foods are integrated into a client's regular diet, primary food issues that are out of balance and in need of change are looked at. Simply: without changing the food you eat first, it is difficult to change or evolve your lifestyle choices.

 

FOOD MATTERS: This documentary trailer hosts several world leaders in nutrition and natural healing who claim that not only are we harming our bodies with improper nutrition, but that the right kind of foods, supplements and detoxification can be used to treat chronic illnesses.

Holistic Health Coaching will never include telling a Client to stop taking medications, to stop seeing their doctors or to make radical life changes. The Client is in charge of their life and is ultimately responsible for the outcomes of their decisions. Holistic Health Coaching is not a substitute for treatment by a certified medical professional.

Coach Role
I will help you discover what approach works best for you at this point in your life. We will create a partnership where my goal is to help you find ways to integrate better foods and habits into your life to improve your health and the way you feel. As your Holistic Health Coach, there is no judgment. My focus is on your health goals and on finding ways to help you achieve them. I am committed to your goals, outcomes, growth, learning, experimentation, discovery and evolution. I will offer new food options and new ideas to support you and help you make them a priority. I will empower you to learn about the incredible power of food ... how life, personal psyche and health are all affected by the food we eat.

Client Role
As someone who has taken the self-loving and careful decision to nourish your own life-long health and happiness by committing to a holistic health coaching program, you must be dedicated and motivated to do the personal work to create a more happier and healthier you. To be a potential client, you must realize that healing comes from within yourself. You should feel ready and have the willingness to make changing and positive steps towards your own wellness. You know your body best therefore you must be willing to learn and listen to the messages of your unique bio-individuality in order to respond with healthy nutrition and lifestyle choices.
